Have you checked/cleaned the ground straps and battery cables and load tested the batteries? Code P0700 on my Chrysler 300 - Cars & Trucks question. I have a 2006 pt cruiser with the check engine code showing up as P0700.
From what I can gather online it's a problem with the transmission, but we
havent had any problems with it switching gears (that we know of). When it
first came on the engine was revving high, and going through a lot of oil. We
would clean the throttle body, it would be good for a few minutes then it would
be on again. Later it got to the point where the engine light was flashing and it
sounded like the engine was misfiring. I'm at a lost of what to do for this car.
