KIA Niro Plug-in Hybrid fuel economy
The 'Official MPG' figures for the KIA Niro Plug-in Hybrid are derived from the NEDC test. There are two parts to the test: an 'urban' cycle designed to reflect driving in a city environment with many stops and starts and an 'extra-urban' cycle designed to mirror more steady state motorway and country routes. The 'combined' figure, which is the most often quoted, is an average of 'urban' and 'extra-urban' weighted by the distances covered in each test.

Often drivers find that it is difficult to achieve the official MPG figures, and it is well understood that these rates should be used as a comparison rather than a target to achieve. Next Green Car has estimated a 'Real MPG' figure for the KIA Niro Plug-in Hybrid, which reflects real-world conditions more closely. See the real MPG page for more info.
Even within a model range like the KIA Niro Plug-in Hybrid, it is worth considering which model to select carefully as the MPG for different models can vary substantially. I feel like a friend to the environment in this car - yet it is just what I needed in terms of size, speed and mileage. I have always wanted a hybrid or EV and now I have reached that goal with style! It seems to almost never run out of gas and tells me how many miles I have left. I love the beautiful blue color - shiny and impressive!

I love that it gets great gas mileage! It is ideal for the amount of driving I do. The Dash while equipped with some tech, is not overwhelming and I can connect my iphone with ease. I like the amount of space it has and look forward to taking it on longer trips!

Kia Niro Hybrid Mpg
Great vehicle down graded from Sorento didn't need the space wanted better fuel economy. Have driven cross country right after purchase and was totally impressed. Great room and great ride has all the things we need. Do wish it came in all wheel drive though. Would absolutely purchase this vehicle again.
